Privacy statement

I will use any information I receive from or about you solely for purposes related to RumpelstiltskinRSS, if at all. This includes both the information that you knowingly provide on the preferences page in your account, and any information that is collected automatically, e.g., when you run the iOS or Android app version of RumpelstiltskinRSS, or when you make a payment. I won't share these data with anyone else, and apart from the preferences, I don't store these data on my servers. Some data may be stored on my local computer as well as in my backups, as specified below.

About the only sensitive information collected by RumpelstiltskinRSS that I am aware of, is your Jobs RSS, which it obviously needs to do its work and from which nobody (outside Gengo's offices) can infer your name, address or any other personal data. This information is stored on my servers, and in some cases (e.g., if there is an issue with your account for which I do some offline investigation) also on my local computer as well as in my backups. I do not share it with anyone else.

At some point, Google claimed the Android app version of RumpelstiltskinRSS also collects your Android advertising identifier. Please rest assured that I don't abuse your Android advertising identifier. In fact, I don't even know what it is. 😋

If you ever sent me an email, your email address (probably along with your name) is stored on my local computer as well as in my backups. This information is not stored on my servers, nor do I share it with anyone else.

When you make a payment via PayPal, PayPal sends me an email containing, along with the payment details, your email address, your name and in some cases also your physical address. This email may or may not be stored on my local computer as well as in my backups. This information is not stored on my servers, nor do I share it with anyone else.

If I have your email address, I will only use it for purposes that I believe are beneficial for your use of RumpelstiltskinRSS. Just let me know if you don't want me to use your email address for one or more of these purposes and I will stop doing so.
